Into the Wyld

In 2024 I will embark on a five month residency at Williamson Art Gallery with a new project titled Into the Wyld which features as part of Wirral Borough of Culture 2024.

Opening August 1st 2024 Into the Wyld draws upon the medieval poem Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and it’s connection to Wirral and the wider north west region. Through this project we aim to explore, reimagine and re contextualise our relationship to mythology and its impact on our modern lives, creating new interpretations of the Arthurian tale through contemporary art and performance.

We have invited contemporary artists and performers from across the north west to collaborate and create with us on this ambitious project and we look forward to announcing them in the neat future.
